I like travel
with luggage or without it I don’t
care. Every vacation all our family try to make a trip. Usually we travel
by plane. It is the shortest and quickest way to reach the place of destination.
We travel altogether, my husband and our children Heather and Mandy.
Some parents prefer to send their children to a camp and travel by their
own, but this is not for us, we don’t like to spend our holidays
separately. We live in New York. As you know, it is a big and noisy city,
where everybody in haste. And we prefer to spend our vacation in rather
quiet and peaceful place on the beach, admire palms and watch sunsets.
Our friends even call us beachcombers.
Usually I take a lot of clothes with me and my husband David always disgruntled
at this fact. I don’t know exactly what mood I will have, may be
I wanted to wear a black dress, but he was left at home. Besides I want
to show all my best dresses I have. I can do it only at vacation. He doesn’t
understand it. I ask him what you prefer to carry our suitcases or to suffer
from my bad spirits. And of course he chooses the first variant. The preparation
to vacation is a long process for us. It is necessary to pack clothes,
cosmetics, take remedies, sunglasses, sun block, books; I like to read
novels at vacation, check the children’s package and so on. So, it
was the usual day. We left our apartment and went on taxi to the airport.
First everything was alright; we passed all procedures and boarded an airplane.
But when we landed it was found out that our luggage was send to another
place. It was terrible. All our stuff was there, except money, tickets,
documents and David’s suitcase. It was a small one and we took it
with us on a board. We had to wait three days while our luggage was returned
to us. First David laughed at us, but when he had to spend some money to
our new clothes, he stopped laugh at once. May be such case is only disadvantages
of a big luggage.
